锻铜是一种区别于铸铜的工艺，是在铜板上进行创作，利用铜板加热后质地变软，锤打后又恢复坚硬的特性，重复这一过程，一般多用于浮雕类，也可以是抽象、简洁的装饰及不是很具像的人、动物浮雕，或者圆雕，锻铜雕塑线条流畅简洁，表面处理细腻而且肌理丰富。
